LplusL nominated for Prize New Media Stichting Liedts-Meesen.

Digital Art (Update II) International Biënnale

For the second edition of Update, Update II, the Liedts-Meesen Foundation invited some guest curators, from who, Peter Weibel, director of the renowned center ZKM (‘Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie) in Karlsruhe (Germany). Once again the bridge is made between art and science, but more important, between audience and artwork. It is often the audience who decides on the construction and the content of the artwork. Creativity no longer seems to be the monopoly of the artist.

The exhibition will show top works from the ZKM-collection from Bruce Nauman, Jim Campbell, Heinz Mack, Piero Fogliati, Bruno Munari, Kovac Architecture, Masaki Fujihata, Levin Golan, Wolfgang Münch, Jeffrey Shaw en Tony Oursler.

Update II presents the "Prize New Media Stichting Liedts-Meesen".
